Before receiving tutoring from Aglika, I was struggling greatly in my math class. I couldn’t keep up with lessons nor receive needed help due to the abrupt change in how class was structured and taught from the COVID-19 pandemic. My teacher was much busier trying to teach both online and in-person students and problems would arise that they would have to attend to. I would not be able to get my questions answered, let alone get the opportunity to ask them. This resulted in frustration because I was falling behind in my classes. I became less engaged, and would usually find myself in a daze during lessons, leaving me even more confused when it came time to complete assignments.
This all changed when I began my tutoring with Aglika in February 2021. I began to see great improvement not only in the areas that I was struggling in class with, but also in areas that would not only help me in the present, but also in the future. She has helped me develop a greater understanding of mental arithmetic and other problem solving skills. Aglika provided me with videos and worksheets that will accommodate any type of learner no matter if they are visual or verbal. My test scores are now a reflection of my potential that Aglika sees in me, and after only a few months of being tutored by her, I too was able to put into action. I now have a much greater confidence and belief in myself and my math skills.
With this being said, I was then able to graduate 8th grade with high honors in all of my classes, and even become salutatorian! I would truly recommend Aglika 110% because she makes sure that you put in the work, in order for you to succeed.

Professor Darakchieva explains the basic knowledge very carefully and combines it with the textbook to explain the exercises.
Professor Darakchieva’s teaching pace is very suitable and easy to follow. She always tries to be as clear as possible about what will be on exams and allows students to have unlimited attempts on the quizzes. There was rarely any confusion in class.
Professor Darakchieva took the time to make sure students understood the material and provided us with good notes and examples.

The way Professor Darakchieva explained the class material was very in-depth and thorough. She always included examples beyond the textbook which helped me understand the concepts a lot better. She was very attentive in office hours and took the time to address all of my questions.
